Description

  • Group contributions support Al-Anon’s purpose of carrying the message of hope and recovery to all those who still suffer.
  • Al-Anon’s Service Manual suggests that groups make donations to the WSO after meeting the group’s expenses. All meetings are autonomous, and each group decides on the amount and regularity of donations to their local service arms and to the WSO. There is no official guideline, but past experience has favored a 60:20:10:10 split: 60% to the local AIS, 20% to the district, 10% to the area, and 10% to the WSO.
  • In keeping with Al-Anon’s Seventh Tradition, Al-Anon is self-supporting, accepting contributions only from Al-Anon members and declining outside contributions.
